The 'Play' part of the 'Live, Work, Play' tag line centers around Downtown Abacoa and Roger Dean Stadium. Downtown offers a wonderful blend of restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, salons, bakeries and coffee shops! It is also home to many concerts, art festivals and events throughout the year. Abacoa Golf Club is one of the finest public golf clubs in South Florida and was the last course designed by Joe Lee, renowned course architect, before his death. A favorite hang out for families is the Abacoa Community Park. Located in the heart of Abacoa, across the street from the Roger Dean baseball fields, is a facility built in 2003 which offers tennis courts, beautiful lit soccer, football and lacrosse fields, racquetball courts and baseball courts.
